The OLTREMATERIA® system contributes to increased ratings in LEED certification.

What is LEED®:  LEED is the world’s best known energy and sustainability certification standard: a set of criteria developed in the United States and applied in over 60 countries throughout the world for the design, construction and management of sustainable buildings from an environmental, social, economic and health-related standpoint.A strong standard, on a voluntary basis, open, transparent, constantly evolving and supported by a large technical-scientific community and widely recognized by the market. In Italy,  LEED®  is developed and promoted by GBC Italia, of which OLTREMATERIA ®  is a supporting and promoting partner.

We collaborate with Material ConneXion®, the largest international centre for research and consultancy on innovative and sustainable materials. It promotes the forging of contacts between producers of materials and potential users, supporting them in the search for material solutions for their projects and offering producers unique and unconventional visibility tools, by performing activities of consultancy, promotion and training for every kind of production and design company.

ECOMALTA®/OLEOMALTA® by OLTREMATERIA® selected and chosen by Matrec EcoMaterials  Library for its environmental characteristics. MATREC is the first EcoMaterials Library dedicated to environmentally sustainable materials and their use in industrial production, architecture and design.

OLTREMATERIA® has been included as one of the best 10 Green Economy Made in Italy companies out of all the enterprises that participated in the “Sviluppo Sostenibile 2012” [Sustainable Development Award 2012] (Foundation for Sustainable Development).

The award was given to companies that had distinguished themselves through activities and systems that produce significant environmental benefits, with innovative content, positive economic and occupational effects and which have a potential for diffusion across three sectors: waste and resources, energy and mobility, and innovative and high environmental performance products and services.

My Equilibria, The Wellness Park
My Equilibria  is a project created to promote  urban fitness , where design and high technology have come together to create an innovative  outdoor gym . The central tree of the installation, the  Leopard Tree , is the soul of My Equilibria: 7 metres high, it can have up to 9 satellite islands, where up to 30 people can work out at the same time.

It is Vittorio Livi’s great passion for glass that led in 1973 to the creation of FIAM, which has become synonymous with the art of glass, in Italy and around the world. Today, FIAM represents an example of Made in Italy excellence at a global level.

The company designs, develops and creates furnishing items in curved glass working alongside internationally renowned designers and architects such as Daniel Libeskind, Massimiliano Fuksas, Philippe Starck, Marcel Wanders and Cini Boeri.

A visit to the estate  Tenuta Mara  represents an extraordinary and a truly unique  wine experience .
Starting from the park and the  art works ‘en plein air’ , you then continue on to the vineyard, a genuine natural oasis where the grapes that will become ‘MaraMia’ are grown. Inside, the visit begins in the splendid music room from which, by a staircase that is also a work of art, you can access the ‘sacred’ places of wine: the Tinaia, the Cantina, the Bottaia.
